I think that astonished is the best word to describe how I felt when I came home from work and saw the work that Northstar did on our carpets.

Our carpet was in bad shape when we purchased our home in December 2006. We always meant to have it replaced, but something else always seems to come up.  Finally unable to stand it anymore we called Northstar to have them come and see if there was anything they could do to salvage what we have.  Not only did they salvage our carpet, the've restored it so it looks better than it did 5 years ago, and the work was done in under an hour!

We are thrilled with the result and very pleased with the professionalism of the staff as well as the low cost to have the work done. We will use Northstar in the future as well as recommend them to everyone that we know.

They cleaned three bedrooms, a living room, hallway and stairs. Also, everything was scotchgarded and they threw in a free sofa cleaning. I have had my carpets cleaned by other companies before, but my carpets looked way better this time, and they dried faster then they had in the past. they cleaned in the morning, and carpets were dry before dinner. WOW, cannot say how wonderful and great they were.  My tenant  had moved out and DISTROYED her living area.  The carpets were burnt, stained, molded, dog messes dried and mushed in, food ground in & left on the floor for months to years.  They were beyond horrible and honestly figured when Jay came in to do the estimate he was going to tell me he could do nothing and I would have to replace them all.  

I had Jay's crew come in and clean them anyhow and I cannot say how wonderful of a job they did.  I honestly could not tell you what color the carpet was in the kitchen before they cleaned, turns out after they cleaned it, I found out that there is a really nice patterned carpet under all the mess she left behind.  Not a dog spot left and they were able to get out most everything she had ground into the floor--it was better then I expected.

In the living room there was food left under the bed to rot and left behind stains, marks, smells & there were even burn marks.  I thought it was a grey carpet until they cleaned it.  Not only did they get most of the really bad stains out I found that it is actually a beautiful light blue carpet.  With the amount of space they cleaned and the work they had to perform in order to complete the job, it took no time at all.  I did expect them to be there for hours working on it but they were only there 1/2-1 hour. Very professional, extremely polite, they gave off the vibe of 'I love my career' and did more than a wonderful job.

Jay was wonderful with the estimate, Yvonne his office personnel was extremely helpful and always nice & willing to help and the two cleaners that came in to do the work were the best. 

If you need it cleaned, they can do it.  I would recommend them to EVERYONE and I WILL be having them back to do more work and on a regular basis also.   - Christina Sessions
